Refund policy

If something isn’t right, we’ll make it right. This page covers everything you need to know about returns, exchanges, store credit, and refunds at Kopakick.

How do I return an item?:

In most cases, you don’t. To cut down on waste, return shipping fuel, and the carbon cost of sending lightly used kit back across the world, we ask you to keep, donate, or pass on the item once your refund or exchange is approved. Find a local club, a school, a younger sibling, a charity shop, give the gear a second life.

We process the refund, store credit, or exchange as soon as your request is approved. The original item stays with you.

Once it’s opened, it can’t be returned:

For hygiene, safety, and resale reasons, products that have been opened, unsealed, removed from their original packaging, or used in any way cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. This applies to socks, shin pads, sleeves, accessories, and apparel alike.

To qualify for a return, the item must be in its original, sealed packaging, with all tags attached, and in the same condition you received it. If you’re not sure whether something fits or is what you expected, please don’t open or unseal the packaging until you’ve decided.

Photos are illustrative:

Product images on the Site are illustrative. What lands on your doorstep may differ slightly from the photo. Logo placement may be different, the logo may be smaller, larger, or in some cases the product may ship without a visible logo. Colour shade, label, stitching, and other cosmetic details may vary slightly between production batches. The product itself does the same job and performs the same way as described on the product page. Cosmetic differences alone are not grounds for a refund.

Packaging:

During busy periods, sales, and peak season we sometimes use plain or simplified packaging to keep orders moving fast and get the gear to you without delay. The product inside is exactly the same, just the box might be plainer than expected. This isn’t grounds for a refund either.

What about faulty or wrong items?:

If your order arrived damaged, defective, or simply wrong (incorrect product, wrong size shipped), email us a few photos along with your order number. In those cases we may ask you to send the item back, on us, and we’ll cover the return shipping. A replacement, a full refund, or a partial refund, your call.

Request window:

Refunds, exchanges, or store credit can be requested within 14 days of receiving your order. After 14 days, we can’t process standard returns. For faulty items covered by your statutory consumer rights, longer windows apply (see “Your rights under EU law” below).

What can be returned:

  • Items unused, unworn, with original tags attached, and in their original sealed packaging
  • Faulty, damaged, or wrongly shipped items (within 14 days of delivery)

What can’t be returned:

  • Anything that has been opened, unsealed, washed, or worn
  • Custom or personalised items (custom shin pads, anything with a name or number)
  • Hygiene-sensitive items once the seal is broken (socks, intimate-fit accessories, single-use products)
  • Gift cards
  • Sale or final-clearance items, where this is clearly stated on the product page

How to start:

Email us with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return or exchange, the reason, and photos if anything is damaged. We reply within 1 to 2 business days with the next step.

Refunds:

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Most banks process the refund within 5 to 10 business days from when we approve it. We’ll send a confirmation email the moment it’s on the way.

Original shipping costs (where they applied) are non-refundable, except in the case of faulty or wrongly delivered items.

Exchanges:

The fastest way to swap a size or colour is to request a refund and place a new order, that way you don’t wait for the exchange queue. If you’d rather an exchange, we’ll do our best, subject to stock.

Order cancellations:

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of being placed, as long as they haven’t already been shipped. After that you’ll need to wait for delivery and follow the standard refund process.

Your rights under EU law:

Nothing in this policy reduces your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU, including your right of withdrawal within 14 days, and your right to remedies for goods that aren’t as described or aren’t fit for purpose.
